The Method

Two Numbers.
That's It.

Stop being the lowest paid person in your own business. The Two-Number Method gives you CFO-level clarity with your phone and two little numbers.

Why Your Business Feels Broke at $500K+

You're not bad with money. Your accountant isn't failing you. The problem is simpler than you think: when all money looks the same, decision-making fractures. Everything goes into one pot — one-pot cooking, as Leanne calls it — and every dollar feels spoken for before it even hits the bank account.

Revenue comes in, bills get paid (hopefully), payroll clears (hopefully), and taxes surprise you. Even after your best year, you're still asking, "Where did it all go?"

You've been doing exactly what most smart business owners are told to do: scale, sell more, sign more contracts, make more money. And it didn't fix the problem. That's not a revenue problem. That's a clarity problem.

"A business without profit isn't really a business. It's a full-time job — and often one where your staff makes more money than you."

The Four Villains

Before you can fix the system, you need to see what's been lying to you

Villain #1

Revenue Is a Liar

He makes things look like they're improving while money quietly disappears underneath. If simply making more money could solve all your business problems, you would have already done it. Big revenue doesn't mean big profit. It never has.

Villain #2

Money Is a Thief

If you don't tell money what it's for, it's going to disappear on you. Money obeys urgency — payroll takes it, vendors take it, subscriptions nibble away at it quietly. Whatever's left, that's what you're told is profit. But that's not profit. That's leftovers.

Villain #3

Accounting Is a False Savior

She tells clean, precise stories about what already happened with your money. But she's a historian, not a strategist. You've been trying to navigate your business driving 75 miles an hour down the freeway — looking only in the rearview mirror.

Villain #4

Effort Is a Bully

He says don't you dare slow down. Don't look too closely. Just keep going. But effort without structure just creates more chaos — and more exhaustion. Effort doesn't create safety. Structure does.

The Two Numbers

1

Your Invest Number

The amount your business needs to spend on things that reliably bring back multiple dollars for every dollar you spend. If it's not a multiplier, it's not an investment — it's business spending.

The Yes Test asks one question: Knowing what I know now, would I spend this money again in a heartbeat? Yes or no. This is data, not drama.

2

Your Spend Number

The amount your business is allowed to spend on non-profitable things without causing itself harm. Insurance, phones, rent, truck payments — necessary but not multipliers. If it doesn't bring back multiple dollars, it's Spend.

When this number gets capped, the guilt goes away. The decisions get lighter. And the conversation at home gets a lot easier. When spend gets capped, profit has room to exist.

The 5-Account Structure

Simple. Phone-based. No spreadsheets required.

1

Income Account

Where all revenue lands first. No expenses touch it. No debit card attached. You see what the business produced before anyone takes a bite.

2

Invest Account

Business spending that passes the Yes Test. Growth money only. Would you spend this again in a heartbeat? Yes or no.

3

Spend / Waste Account

Necessary business expenses that don't multiply money. Capped so profit has room to exist. When it runs low, the answer becomes no.

4

Profit Account

Profit off the top, not what's left over. This money never — literally never — gets used for operations. Profit is a choice, not a hope.

5

Tax Account

No more surprise tax bills. Set aside consistently, sleep at night. When you do this, April isn't an ambush anymore.

"Physical separation changes your behavior without changing your willpower."

What Changes

When income is visible before it is spent, you can breathe. When profit is defined instead of accidental, the pressure eases. When expenses are constrained instead of justified, decisions stop feeling like life or death.

You have the same business. The same revenue. But a completely different experience.

Their shoulders drop. Their voice changes. That's the most important shift — from "What am I missing?" to "I see what's been happening" to "I can do this" to "I don't have to live like this anymore."

"Not more hustle, not more sacrifice — but a reorganization of how money is allowed to behave in your business."
